Settings

The Settings tab gives access to a series of setting options for managing and importing data and information, database management such as data exchange, defining metadata and keywords. Furthermore, it is used for defining and designing analysis tools and menus for data analysis, and it include a Data Inventory, which provide a summary of the data and information in the database.

The settings includes the following main group of import, setup and database management functionalities:

1. Map settings: Import of spatial information, including station layers and stations

2. Station data and knowledge products: Import of station data and information and knowledge products

3. Tool settings: Configuration of tools

4. Database management: Handling of data exchange, metadata, keywords and access to data inventory

Map settings

Under Map settings Settings the following options are available:

Picture	Description
	Station layers for defining and managing gauging station layers
	Stations for importing and managing gauging stations
	Thematic layers for importing GIS layers that can be displayed in the Map View together with the Station layers
	Countries and Basins layers for selecting GIS layers defining country borders and sub-basin boundaries for filtering of stations according to these layers
	Layer Associations for importing associated documents to thematic layers

Station data and knowledge products

Under Station Data and knowledge products Settings the following options are available:

Picture	Description
	Station Data for adding time series data, spreadsheets, pictures and documents to be associated with gauging stations;
	Knowledge products for importing and managing knowledge product information;

Tool Settings

Under the Tools settings Settings the following options are available:

Picture	Description
	Tools for selecting and configuring analysis Tools and Apps to be accessible from the Analysis;
	Periods for defining pre-defined time periods for which time series analyses can be carried out.

Database management

Under Database management Settings the following options are available:

Picture	Description
	Data Exchange for dumping or loading data to and from an exchange file;
	Meta-data for specification of meta-data schemas;
	Keywords for specification and managing keywords;
	Data Inventory for generating data inventory reports;
	Knowledge product groups for generating new knowledge product groups;
