Overview

Introduction

MIKE INFO has an IDE-style user interface (UI) where all windows reside under a single parent window and tabbed windows.

The main window is a Map View located under the application ribbon where spatial data and other information is displayed. The ribbon provides different tools for working with the data and configuration settings for e.g. filtering the data. To the right is a window where station data and knowledge products can be accessed. Such information will when accessed be displayed in tabbed windows or opened in default programs.

MIKE INFO has a user friendly and intuitive menu layout. It provides the possibility to make dedicated configuration for data analysis by the administrator.

Logon Page

Users need to logon to MIKE INFO. The logon form appears when clicking on the logon link in the ribbon.

Required Logon parameters are:

  • User name

  • Password

  • Server connection, which is an alias for the database parameters

Note: If no user credentials have been defined for a user, the user may logon as administrative user. For administrators the default user credentials is user admin and password dssadmin.

If several databases have been created and their respective server connections have been defined, the server connection can be chosen from the drop down list.

Note: Often the Connection name and the Database name can conveniently be identical.

Server and Port specifications should be as specified in the figure below.
